What’s Your Action Plan For 2012?

Are you all ready to get your home based businesses off to a great start in 2012? You better be!

A week or so ago, I made a really long list of resolutions I wanted to accomplish in 2012, but last night I decided to take a look over my list again. I realized that most of the items on my list were just filler tasks. They weren’t going to be keys to my 2012 success. They were going to be a waste of my time and a distraction.

I don’t know if you are like me or not, but normally I start off with a long list and for a month or two I work really hard at meeting every single task on it. Then I decide that I’m overwhelmed, and I start negotiating with myself about what I should take off my list first. It’s an ongoing battle and then after 4 months I’ve given up on every item on there. I don’t want to do that this year, and I don’t want you to either.

This year I am going to make an action plan! I’ve put together 5 things that I want to work on in 2012. Most importantly, I’ve set attainable goals.

I was reading through my friends’ status updates on Facebook last night and everybody was so happy to be leaving 2011 behind them. They wanted a fresh start. It was kind of sad.

I don’t want to feel like that next year. I want my status on Facebook next December 31st to be “Yay! I met all my goals! Thank you 2012! Here’s to a great 2013!”
