. . .. . .
I stumbled across this website tonight where people rant about their day at the office. It’s a brilliant concept considering how many people are unhappy in their job.
I read through a few and I’m not going to lie it was amusing, but then it was just sad. People spend so much of their day complaining. “I don’t want to wake up. I don’t want to spend an hour in traffic. I don’t want to go to that meeting. I don’t have time to get that proposal done.” I never realized how whiny employees are. You rarely hear anyone say, “I love getting up at 5:30am. I love taking the stairs because the elevator has decided not to work today. I love eating my lunch at my desk.”
If employees were more willing to look outside the box and find a way to be their own boss, they would be able to save themselves and their loved ones some whining. Well…most of them anyway.
I know it’s not easy making the transition, but if you were willing to spend an hour a night using that employee frustration to help you create your own business, you would be free in no time.
So I challenge all of you to be less whiny! Man up! Woman up! Just get to it please!
