Is Fashion A Turn On Or Turn Off For Men

As a woman, I tend to try to find outfits that I like and that my boyfriend will find me sexy in. Isn’t that what all of us ladies are trying to do? However, this season I’m having a little more difficulty than normal. It seems my boyfriend and guy friends aren’t on board with this season’s fashion trends.

Here’s a breakdown of what they had to say…

“The over-sized sunglasses are just too much! I can’t see her eyes and that is one of her best assets.” – I kind of thought this one was really sweet. A good compromise might be a mid sized pair of sunglasses in a fun color or print with a lighter lens.

“What is with the gigantic shoes. You guys look enormous. I’m 5’10. I don’t want to feel like I’m 5’5.” – He’s really 5’9, but let’s let him think he’s 5’10. I think if you want a platform and can rock the platform correctly you should go for it. However, if you are one of those ladies that teeters around in platforms trying to keep your balance, you might want to try something just a little lower.

“This isn’t the eighties. I don’t want to see bright yellow from head to toe. We aren’t trying to deflect traffic.: – I get it. When I walked into Express the other day, I kind of got a headache myself. There is a lot of color this season, which is great, but it looks a little classier in moderation. Maybe you don’t need the bright yellow shoes, bag, shirt, and earrings. Maybe pick just one…two at most.
